FIFA may not choose the venue for the 2030 final until 2028, according to a beIN Sports report citing Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.

Three stadiums are in contention: the Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid, Camp Nou in Barcelona and the new Grand Stade Hassan II near Casablanca. Spanish federation president Rafael Louzán has said he is confident the final will be played in Spain.

A further FIFA inspection visit to the three host countries is pending, with no date announced. For comparison, the 2026 final venue was confirmed in February 2024, about two and a half years before the match.
