How World Cup 2030 tickets will work (and how to avoid scams)
Official sales have not opened. Here is what to expect and what to avoid.
Early edition: these facts have not yet been reviewed by our editors. Check the sources before you book.
The short version
Official tickets are sold only by FIFA, on its own website. Sales for 2030 have not opened yet, so anyone selling 2030 match tickets today is not an official seller.
What to expect
- In past tournaments FIFA sold tickets in phases, some by random draw and some first come, first served.
- Official hospitality packages (ticket plus food and lounge access) are sold through FIFA's appointed hospitality partner.
- Tickets are personal and linked to your account; reselling outside FIFA's official resale platform can void them.
Avoid scams
- Don't pay for "guaranteed" 2030 tickets before official sales open.
- Only buy through FIFA's official ticketing site, linked below.
- Be wary of social media sellers and lookalike websites.
We will update this guide as soon as FIFA announces sale dates.
